A soil moisture sensor calibrated for loam won't read accurately in sandy, clay-rich, or substrate-based media. Agrinodes lets you calibrate each sensor to the exact environment it's deployed in — field soil, coco coir, rockwool, perlite, or custom blends — so your readings reflect reality, not a factory assumption. You can also enter predefined coefficients from manufacturer datasheets or soil lab results, skipping field sampling entirely.

Each safeguard has a configurable response policy — from advisory alerts to critical alarms with automated action plans that stop zones, close valves, or kill pumps before crop damage occurs.
